What ist eh sequence of buttons to push to reset the eprom on a Kenmore dishwasher
The clean light is flashing but will not turn on or cancel

Thank you Lee! We had the service person out to do that very thing and fortunately our Kenmore was still under warranty. I made note of the button sequence but now, a year+ later, of course I don't know where I wrote it. A very quick Yahoo search brought me to this page and now I'm washing!

Not sure if will work for all kenmore's, but this has worked on my Kenmore Elite quite guard 5.

Repeat the following button sequence:
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry

All lights will turn on.

Hit 'Cancel'

Now run through a 'Quick Clean' cycle and see if you've still got an error blinking/flashing light at the end of it. If not, you do not have a system/board problem. Just an apparent 'reboot' fix was in order.

Your machine should have reset now. You just saved yourself a $95 service call.
