How can I fix my Frigidaire Gallery Model FRS26ZGG Ice Maker?

My ice maker no longer makes ice. It makes a sound periodically like it's trying to run water, but nothing happens. How can I fix this?

water is not going to the ice maker

Just had the same thing happen to me. Pull your unit out from the wall. The upper right hose is the water line to the ice maker. There is a clamp holding the line just before it enters the back wall. Remove the screw. Carefully pull the hose out with the rubber adapter. There will be a long white tube connected to the rubber adapter, so pull straight out with a slight upward angle. Go slowly. Once out, pull the white tube out of the adapter and check both for ice or any other obstruction. Mine was full of ice. Reassemble unit and test ice maker.
