murray tractor won't turn over?

I have a 1993 murray tractor. Never had a problem until I tried to start it this year. Wouldn't turn over so bought new batt., then new solinoid, checked wires , ground etc. still won't turn over. I hear the solinoid click but engine starter won't turn. New starter next????

i would double check all the safetys first, there might also be a fuse between the selonoid and the starter

Take a test lite and when trying to start it see if the starter is getting power on the big red lead ...if it is try tapping on starter while tring to crank it ...might have a bad spot on starter amatuer
