how can i replace the electrical supply cable on my dco4 as the outer casing on it has split

Look down on to the on-off button,and on the body side of the button itself you will see a groove, push a thin screw driver down the groove-about one & half inches-and using a pair of pliers, pull the switch up,the button will slide out revealing a small screw, remove screw and the section will slide out.
