Do you mean it has actually stopped making ice or simply stopped ejecting ice through the mechanism in the door? If the latter, mine had the same problem and the cause was that the corkscrew mechanism in the ice holder had broken. The corkscrew itself is made of clear plastic (and is clearly not strong enough) and part of it had snapped off. I glued it back on with superglue and it works fine....until the next time it happens.
