What do I do when I can't get leaded petrol?

I have a Briggs & Stratton leaded petrol lawnmower. I cannot get leaded petrol (or lead replacement petrol) anywhere. What can I do? Do I risk putting unleaded in and hope for the best or will that seize the engine up or similar?

Help.

Castrol valvemaster is another additive. You can get it online from specialist suppliers to classic car owners. You can also get 4* leaded from some garages. Try www.leadedpetrol.co.uk

From Halford you can purchase Lead replacement addatives, also one that will boost the octane level . I use this in my 1985 BMW as this was built to use 4 star fuel and and had no problems for the last 4 years. You may find that the mower will be ok on unleaded anyhow
