My G4 does not put soap suds onto the carpet when you run it, only a trail of water just in the middle of the head when you go frontwards?????? Can you help??

YES...I can help!! The shampooer has a little round suds screen that fits onto the tank where the small hose plugs onto it. Sometimes this screen gets lodged sideways in the end of the hose (or lost altogether) and this will make the shampooer behave the way you described. Find and replace the little screen and you'll be set!

The little screen that plugs into the bottom of the tank has slipped out and is in the hose. It needs to stay in the hard plastic tube that the hose connects to.
