What will keep my Dodge Neon from shifting gears, if there is nothing wrong with the transmission? This is a 2002 Dodge Neon and I was told it could be a computer problem. If the computer is bad, can I replace it with a computer from a wrecked Neon. Also, I was told it could be because of a bad cluster board, could this keep the car from shifting gears?

you could replace the computer from a wrecked neon but its hard to tell if it has been damaged I think dodge can actually reprogram it if you bring it in "THEY SHOULD DO IT FOR FREE"
