The phone was purchased 11-2005 warranty has expired. Service operator said the handset has defected and cannot be operable. The box states accessory handsets can be purchased. I called to order and they said none can be ordered. But the GE booklet states Extra Handsets are used with models 21025 and 21095 ( my model phone). Please help

It sounds like the model had become obsolete. Having said that as long as it is a DECT phone, you can use any DECT handset with the base station. However having said that extra handsets are so expensive you would be better off just buying a complete new phone.
