how do I remove the alternator on a Rover 111 SLI 1995?

I have removed the alternator on my wifes Metro but can not get it out of the engine bay, All the bolts,belts, & wires are disconnected! do I have to remove any other parts to allow it to be removed???

I had this problem with my car as well. You need to take off the oil filter from the bottom of the car to get it out.

Its OK I have fixed it ! had to take oil filter and bracket off and removed it from the bottom.
