radiater fan switch?

i have a peoguet 206 and the fan switch does not always kick in on time it does come in but only after the needle jumps to the top how do i replace it

ive got a 205 and a306 its screwd into the side of the radiator if its a1 speed fan its got 2 wires ,if its a 2 speed like mine its got 3 wires , dont forget top up the coolent. good luk
