Hello John
The chances are that the overflow inkpad needs changing, if you have had to clean the heads quite a bit then the excess ink fills an overflow pad somwhere in the bottom of the printer and needs to be changed and the counter reset, printers are set to take so many head cleaning tasks then the information comes up that it needs a service, |I have one done about 18 months ago under warranty and now one of the printers I use now needs doing, it will cost about £40 to have it done, I am going to take mine apart in the next couple of days to see if I can do it myself, I may ruin it but the cost of a new printer is not much more than the service costs so all or nothing, if you want to get back to me in a couple of days I will let you know if it is easy to do.
