why disk breaks are apply only in front wheels?

In cars and bikes only front wheel has disks breaks and rear wheel has drum breaks . when rear breaks are more imptant than front breaks. why not all (reae and front) wheel has disk breaks?

Most of the braking (stopping power) is obtained from the front wheels, not the back...especially for bicycles.

disc brakes are a more expensive form of brakes and so are used on the back as it is the front brakes that need to have the highest braking force. This is because as a car brakes most the weight of the car acts on the front wheels of the car.
