how to open petrol filler cap on vectra when central locking fails

theres a way to get to it inside your boot.behind the panneling. theres something to twist to open manually.

If you can get into the boot then, on the right hand wall of boot there is an access panel to the vehicle tools. Remove the panel and there is a small opening into the skin of the car. Reach through the opening and you should be able to move the petrol cap locking mechanism with your hand. It is a tight squeeze and be careful not to cut yourself on the edge of the the body panel. If you can't get into the boot then I have no idea, sorry. To lock the cap push the locking bar into place AFTER closing the filler cap.
