Setting up a wireless router?

Ive just purchased a belkin wireless G router but I cant set it up, all the lights come on except the connection light therefore I cant access the internet to get the 192.168.2.1 page up to complete the setup. The router connects through the ethernet plug, please help

The 'Internet' connection and the connection between your PC and the router are two different things. If you do not have an 'Internet' light it means that you are not connected to your ISP's service.

Not being able to connect to the router from your PC could be anything. Are you sure that 192.168.2.1 is the correct IP address for your router? It looks a little odd.

To see if your PC is getting an IP address from the router: Open a command prompt window and type ipconfig. Post the results on a NEW post here. (Don't use this post as it will look closed.)
