heater fan stopped working?

heater fan stopped working, where can I locate the fan for citroen xantia TD, 1996 model

Assuming RHD. The fan on the Xantia is under the glove box. Access is from underneath, removing the fabric/carpet panel. The fan is held in with three screws.
Check the condition of the electrical plug on the Fan

The problem is probably a burnt out ignition switch the is a driect feed from the ignition to the fan with no relay between. there are two options availiable a new ignition ( or a decent one from the scrapyard ) or fit a relay powered directly from the battery and switch on via one of the other wires from the ignition so it only comes on when the ignition is turned on
