Hi I have an Indesit FDU20iX Double Oven - Possible faulty Thermostat?

Main oven not heating up at all, fan turns and oven light comes on, also door switch is ok as it activates the fan when closed.

I have checked the Element which looks OK and also with a multimeter which gives a fixed reading back in Ohms, so no open circuit. Also have not had my RCD trip out.

How can I test a thermostat, as I suspect that it is faulty, as everything else works fine, just the oven heat light never lights up. Normally this goes out after the oven reaches the correct temperature.

How easy was it to change the thermostat?

It was a faulty thermostat. Once I replaced it with a new one it worked fine. The thermostat is one thats used in hotpaint and a number of different ovens so its easy to get hold of.
