In order to speed up the de-frosting of the small freezer compartment of my fridge, i chipped the compacted ice away. Unfiortunately, i have pierced the ceiling of the compatrment causing a loss of pressure. Can this be covered, and if so, will the freezer/fridge work effectively?

no if put hole in it will have to bin it and buy new no repair can be done
