95 MK2 Ford Fiesta clutch problem?

Take up point on clutch keeps changing. Any ideas?

could be clutch ratchet slipping.

Hi,
I can't remember if the clutch is hydraulic or cable, but if it's a cable you may have the beginnings of corrosion in the cable. This causes the cable to stick a bit so you are never quite sure when it's going to bite. You can try running oil down the cable in the same way that you do on a motorbike cable. Disconnect at the engine and raise the end as far as you can, make a funnel from plastecine around the end and run the oil into this. If this doesn't help you may have a bit more digging to do.
Cheers now
