How do I fix a short in my mazda's seat belts?

How can I fix the short in my mazda's automatic seat belts? They have a mind of its own, it will not move at all when the car door is open or when I want it to,but it will move when it's not supposed too! Its only on the passengers side .Can i fix it my self or should I just put it the shop?

If it is Mx-3, there was a recalled on them, dealing with the seat belts, check with dealer, am sure they are surppose to repair for no coat...
