How can I fix my USB pen drive / recover information thereon?

I accidentally broke my 'disgo lite' USB drive. My computer is now unable to read it. How can I recover the information thereon? Can I repair the drive?

I would suggest that as it is solid state memory, there is no way of recovering the data as it can't be fixed :(
