Alarm system draining my battery?!!?

Hello
My car alarm/Imobiliser I think is draining my car battery. Say I dont use the car for a few days, the battery is flat and I have to jump start it, is this the car alarm causing this problem or something else?! It's an after market alarm system, which works no problem, just not sure why my battery is flat after only a few days. Any help, I'd be grateful for. Thanx

Get a battery check first, some garages do it for free,if it's ok the alarm may not have been fitted correctly. If you have an old /weak battery it will drain it quickly, when you used to switch the car off the battery kept the charge it had until you started again, now the alarm is draining the battery as its active when your away, they all do,get your batt checked first,it will let you down big time soon even if you take the alarm off.
