Can I get a washing machine induction motor fixed? Electra WD1100?

The motor is suffering a loss of power - it can manage the fast spin cycle, but not the slow wash cycle, where it struggles to rotate the drum more than a quarter turn. A replacement motor is not much less than a new washing/dryer.

Induction motors are very reliable. It's usually the capacitor that breaks. £10 for a new one.
