flip the mower securly on its side with blocks of wood or cinder blocks under the sides of the tires.(this will take two people)Now take a block of wood, and wedge it between the blade, and the deck makeing sure you wedge it so as to hold it from moving counter clockwise.Make sure you clean the bolt head to get a secure fit with a BOX END WRENCH!!!Now get a decent size hammer to hit the box end with, and shock that stubbern bolt loose.Make sure you are going counter clockwise(lay lawnmower on lefthand side from the seated positon your left side from the seat looking at the front of the mower)now put the wrench at elevenoclock position hold end of wrench, and push down while you hit towards end of wrench with hammer.Be carefull not to hit your hand or strip out thr bolt head.Keep the boxend allthe way on the bolthead flat at all times.Make sure to clean off the bolt head to ensure proper wrench size, and fit. This will work,I've had to doit for years.Your welcome.
