jammed boot lock?

how can i fix a jammed boot lok on my ford focus, it's open all the time & will not shut and lock secureley

i had the same trouble on my nissan primera. by chance discovered if i locked the car then within 10 seconds aimed the key directly at the boot lockand pressed the key the boot locked . this fixed the problem for good. give it a try it may work for you.
