My washing machine seems to get stuck in the middle of a cycle, and it seems that this happens only when the tub is fililng up with water. I've learned that if I manually rotate the timer dial during one of these stuck water-filling episodes, then I am able to proceed along the cycle. I am told it might be a circuit board problem, but based on what I've read (I'm no plumber or technician) I am inclined to think it might be a syphon valve or pump. Can anyone help?
