kitchen-aid suprba wash¨ng machine cycle switch not moving?

I have a kitchen-aid superba ultra quiet washing machine its about 7 or 8 years old, the cycle switch motor seems to have stopped working, meaning you can put it on any cycle and it works but it no longer moves from cycle to cycle, Is the cycle unit all in one unit or can I just replace the motor, I got a quote of $165 to fix it but if i can find the switch myself I can save 50 or 60 bucks...hey it survived 3 teenagers and so did I....I owe it to it...thanks Bob becker

Hello,

It sounds like your timer motor went bad. I believe you have to replace the timer as a whole and not just the timer motor.
