Broken bonnet lock Ford Focus 53 reg?

I have a 1.6 Ford Focus Zetec 53 plate. The bonnet lock appears to be loose and broken as though it has been forced. How can I get into the bonnet (without using a can opener!!)? Are replacements expensive?

pull the lever under the sterring wheel the one with the pic of a bonnet on it then it should open and if you go down to your local scrap yard you should be able to find a bonnet for your car for about ten pounds.

I wonder if your release cable has come unclipped or broken. I dont know how you will be able to release the catch, I will leave that for someone else to solve, but I am sure there'd be a way. Try a fone call to your ford service centre.
