The Dishwasher showed fault AL4, sorted the leak out but now makes a terrible noise as the water is pumped into the rotating arms. Sounds like a bearing in the motor. Is there only one motor i.e. the water pump?

this machine has one motor which reverses to drain out i think....... sounds like you have something in the pump.... remove before it destroys the pump impellor....... remove screws from inside the machine under the filter area there is a cover with 3 screws i seem to remember alowing you to lift out a cover..... look down into the sump to see if you have dropped a screw or it might be a seed or large pip from fruit..... if you cant see anything it might mean removal of the motor... check here first
