has the fuel pump on my ford escort 55 diesel van been turned to deregulate the power,if so what degree does it have to be to get full power,all help would be appreciated.

i think it is at about 11 0clock but couldnt be sure as i dont have paperwork here if you set ur engine to number 1 top dead centre there isa slit in the wheel for the diesel pump withch should be insine with a hole that you can fit a small screwdriver into on the deisel pump
