Sabre HE boiler?

I have a Sabre HE boiler that has worked fine for just over a year.
The probelm I have is that there doesnt seem to be enough air getting into the burner chamber, therefore not lighting up when taps are turned on. If i unclip the front cover to the chamber it lights up, but as soon as i close the cover the burners go out.
Please help, my wife is desperate for a shower in hot water!

hi thats because it takes its combustion air direct from outside so it would indicate a problem with air coming into the combustion chamber.
hence why boiler runs with cover plate off as it getting air from the room.
check fan blades and venturi duct are clean also check aps
most likley to be dirty fan as due a service fixed loads by simply cleaning and servicing get a gas safe eng round.
