Remove single screw holding ashtray in place, remove two screws holding the bottom of panel, remove radio then remove the radio cage, it hinges centre top and bottom. Carefully lift the cage out leaving all the wiring attached, then, If you shine a torch into the radio aperture, look inside at an upward angle, you will see a horizontal square section metal bar. This needs to be pressed downwards, both ends simultaneously which will in turn, release the hidden catch put there to thwart the efforts of we amateur technicians thereby saving £65.00 per hour (plus vat) You don’t really need the rocker switches out. Once you have released the catch, ease the panel towards you and disconnect all the multipin connectors, they are all colour coded and different sizes so don’t worry about re-assembly.
When you have the panel out, you will see that the back of the climate control panel has a cover held in place with torx screws! After borrowing a torx set, remove the panel exposing the PCB which can be unclipped and lifted clear. I took the PCB off as it made replacing the bulbs easier plus I could clean the LCD displays before reassembly.
Tip. Replace all the bulbs, 5, I believe, as I only replaced the two that had gone on mine, reassembled everything then found that two more had gone!!
Reassemble in reverse order, taking care with the ash tray, to locate the plug and socket behind the cig lighter.
Sorry I cant help with the rocker cover gasket,
