Yeaterday our combi boiler Worcester 241 modes started banging. We switched it off, pressure has been dropping over the last two months and has been topped up twice. When we stitched it back on it only worked for about 30mins, sound like its tring to fire up. But no water or heat.

It may have tripped out on over heat if it has been low on water. it could also have jammed up the pump which might account for the banging noises.
