My Worcester 24i Junior is not working?

My Worcester 24i junior isn't working, there is a 4 flash per second on the light. There is no hot water or heating. This has been happening for a while but it used to work after switching it off at the wall for around an hour, but now its not heating at all. The pressure is fine, at just above 1. Please help!

my worcester 24i junior packed in this morning. the fan comes on but its not igniting. had a corgi reg bloke to look at, he changed the air pressure switch, cleaned the rubber piping, fan and flue but it made no difference.. any ideas??

When turn central heating on, works for about 15 minutes, then light flashes once per second. Once pressed to reset it works for another 15mins then cuts out. After 2nd reset it stays on ok.
Hot water ok except when run the bath - cuts out after 10-15 mins of running water - ok after reset

The manufacturers book lists 7 possible faults for your boiler?

I know through experience of these boilers that there is a fault with the water pressure switch which causes several faults. Worcester tech line has confirmed this to me. They have had lots of feed back from engineers.

The easiest way to check it is to have a competent person (CORGI eng) link out the pressure switch. There are only 2 orange wires on it.

Be advised! DO NOT leave the switch linked out if its the fault. New ones are readily available at parts stockists.

Baz (CORGI Eng), May 2007
Have you checked your manual for the fault identification ? It should give you a pointer towards the likely source.
From memory that fault may be a fan or flue problem. (i may be wrong). If it is you will need a corgi registered engineer because it involves going into the burner chamber(gas/fumes).

hi if you use your instuction booklet, look under faults it will tell you what the fault is, coraspond the flashing lights to the ones on the fault page.
