peugeot 309 D will it start after 12 mounths?

can i just start it or should i rock it in gear or something .oil is ok anything i should do before starting

Hi,
If a car has been sat for a long time without starting, you may have to pop the rocker cover off and lub the top end. I would ensure the oil and filter has been changed, use a flushing oil at first in case you have a build up of sludge. Alternatively take a punt and go for it!
