chrysler neon auto box problem?

cannot select reverse gear on automatic gearbox on my chrysler neon p reg ,forward gears all ok car has 30,000 miles only since new.

my neon/auto will not go into 1 or 2 reverse just second i was told it was needing a oil change and filter i change them still the same

check gearbox oil level,apply handbrake select drive with engine at tickover(DO NOT STAND INFRONT OF VEHICLE)more oil is needed to drive in reverse than foreward gears,do you also have irratic selection selection of foreward gears?
