I have a Creda Simplicity 1200 which will not spin?

The machine just keeps on washing and will not empty or spin. The dial moves on to complete the whole cycle but it remains full of water. I cannot find a filter anywhere on the machine, could this be the problem?

Check the waste/outlet hose is unobstructed first, If all seems ok here, lower the end of the hose into a bowl, if water does not come out it indicates a blockage somewhere, filter is underneath the drum at the rear, remove the lower back panel to access. If this is all clear there may be something jamming the pump, this is also easily accessible from the rear panel. Make sure m/c is disconnected from mains supply before investigating, also watch your hands on sharp edges and the spring clips that retain the sump hose.

Regards,
Mark.
