how does it work??? why does it come on without being pressed?? what are the two buttons for? help! peugout 306 dieasel r plate. one button has A/C and a light and the other one has a car diagram.

The a/c button may turn your aircon on or turn it off, like Merc's button's do. The test is to press the button and turn your blower up full. If the air is cold the air con is on. The little car is the recirculate button. This causes the air con to recirculate air inside the car rather form the outside. Its a good thing to do first off BUT do turn it off after few minutes or you you will not be getting any fresh air in the car which is bad.
