Zanussi Jetstream Turbodry 1200 reports E10 on drying cycle?

The manual instructs an E10 error as problem with the water supply - but the machine washes fine, it just errors within 2 minutes on the drying cycle.

I have switched the water off completely when running the dry cycle in case it was still filling the machine and the error was caused that way- but it still error'ed

Any thought appreciated.

Many thanks for all the help - it was the cold water fill valve, and the unit is working fine now.

Roger,

we have the same problem. Have managed to sort it out ?
Was it the "cold water fill valve" ?

Thanks

Mike

Many thanks for the advice Phil - I'll follow that up and let you know.

hi roger these machines take in a very small amount of water when drying if the machine cant take in the amount it needs it throws up a fault code. this water intake is controlled by the cold water intake at the back of the machine, this would not affect the wash program because it is only opperated on the dry cycle. so i suggest a new cold water fill valve
