This must be the most awkward start motor replacement I have ever done! Does anyone know how to access the top bolt on the start motor as I cant get even one finger near it!

i belive there is a metal bracket from the inlet manifold remove this and get a 13mm socket and extension bar and you will then be able to remove it but there is a nut that will come off first this holds an earth then the stud will come out this is also 13mm you MUST put the earth back on or the car will not start
