LG WD8016C washing machine stops mid cycle every load?

My LG WD8016C washing machine stops mid cycle every load, the readout flashes "IE". Quite often I have to turn the power off and on, drain the thing than start again. It used to happen only once every few loads, but now it happens every time. HELP!
