my synergy 2150 doesnt make a ringing noise!! Help?

have made sure that the base volume and handset volume is turned up. People can ring us and we can ring them but when they do ring there is no sound atall. There doesnt seem to be a mute button. pease help me.

Have you tried another telephone e.g a corded phone. You need to confirm that the phone socket is okay.
