Mine Sanyo CLT-6700 cordless phone is not working.
The handset is always showing OUT RANGE and on keeping it on Charging, its shows SET SEE.

The base station "In Use" LED is also constantly blinking.
Can any body help me out to make my phone working.

Hi,

I was having the same problem, but after doing every thing, the problem is not resolved yet. The channel no is displayed in the handset but it's not fixed..it keep changing again and again.

whole day it was repeating all the channel numbers. but In Use do not displayed.

Pl. let me know what could be the problem?

check the batteries.

My symptoms: Blinking IN USE. Lighting CHARGE. No signs of any life in the display. I took out the battery placed it back. The IN USE led wasnt blinking anymore, but CHARGE still was ON, (Even without batteries), but at least the life signes in the display were back.

the display shows EST SEC when the security code must be reset.
1. place the handset in the base station cradle.
2.press INT/TRAMS/PAGE on the base station (within 8 seconds)

a beep sounds, andthe channel number in use appears in the display to confirm the completion of security code setting.
if you experience difficulty in resetting secrity code.first disconnect the AC adaptor from the unit, reconnect it, and then try again.
