yes you can bypass it but only with a over ride key usally if you go to a dealer they will get you one (hold it in your ignition and hold your other key with your new chip by the brain this will reprogram your new key to it
reprogram key-igntion-new key by brain-job done!
o by the way some times it dont work first time... :)
