abs on a 2000 passat?

th abs lights up on the dash but the brake still work is thi just a sensor problem or something more and how do i fix it

I had this problem with my 52 passat saloon. Fortunatly in my case all that was required was a replacment switch on the brake foot pedal. A 5 minute job costing just £12 for the part.
