How do i get compression back on my rover 25 1.4 16v?

Rover 25 1.4 16v.
I have changed the timing belt but lost compression on the engine. How can i resolve this?

Sounds like you have got the valve timing wrong. You may even have done some damage like bent valve stems. First step is to go back and check the valve timing.
