I would take it to a repair shop & let them set it up, when I was fixing these it could take up to an hour to get the engine running sweetly & that was using service & set up tools as well, depends if somebody had been messing around with the carb settings.
Get the settings wrong & it will either run like a pig or in a worse case you could cook the engine.
