our bosch washer is working fine but on the fill cycle it displays the following........... "water tap closed?". Tap isn't closed,pipe not kinked,low pressure or anything like that. I can see that there is some kind of flow sensor in the cold pipe work from valve to soap box. Could this be the fault???

yes the water fill valve is faulty replace it
