Tumble will not generate any heat. Belt in place all other funcstions ok. Has been repaired once. Service man reset the thermal switch. Want to save 40£ please can you help?

I had the same problem over a year ago - you need to replace the heating element. Take off the middle cover of the back of the machine - no need to take off the whole back. Order a new heating element and replace. Now I need to figure how to replace the belt! Having the same problem as everyone on this site - too loose. Clearly some trick that I haven't figured
