We had the same problem. We cleaned out the little vent that the steam comes out of. There was all kinds of nasty soap residue blocking the steam from exiting, forming condensation that dripped onto the floor. It is found on the inside of the door. You can pop it off and put it back on with your hand. Let me know if this fixed it.
